  1. Find your friend. Their landing has a flag.
  2. Pick a distance. The yellow trail shows where that trip would go.
  3. Sail! Watch where you land. You can always try another distance.

Later trips start partway along the river. Your distance starts at the boat, too.

Fraction Ferry explores fractions as distances: locating fractions, recognizing equivalent amounts, and finding the distance between two points.

Ten chapters begin with familiar halves and quarters, introduce finer parts and equivalent names, then build toward finding a missing distance from a starting dock. All trips are available from the beginning.

Try asking, “Where do you think the boat will land?” or “Can you show me why?” Hints are part of play and never have a penalty.

Play stays on this device. There are no accounts, ads, tracking, voice services, or saved play histories. Sound is made on your device and starts off. Home opens the MakeJoy Labs website, and the report link opens an adult feedback page. Those links need internet.
