Approved Studios is MakeJoy’s reviewed path for an adult contributor to improve one bounded app without receiving production credentials or access to family data.
This page is an explanation, not an open account or automatic admission. A MakeJoy maintainer still reviews the fit, assigns one app surface, and controls every merge and release.
Privacy stays small
Contributors use synthetic fixtures and local test data. Child names, child accounts, private feedback, production secrets, and family records are never part of the contribution path.
Evidence before release
A contribution includes failure handling, accessibility checks, tests, and a clear account of what was and was not verified. Maintainers decide whether it ships.
No hidden workspace
Local contributor tools and operating dashboards are not published here. This public page describes the boundary without exposing internal queues, credentials, or unfinished administration.
